The NIHR Research Delivery Network (RDN) South West Central Awards celebrate research achievements across the region, from Dorset in the South to Gloucestershire in the North.
This year’s awards are particularly special as NIHR celebrates its 20th birthday. BFT boasts 10 shortlisted nominations across two thirds of the categories:

- Bristol Royal Infirmary Research Delivery Deam and Barth Syndrome specialist teams
Fostering innovation
- Tony Timlin, Research Programme Manager
- Jon Aning, Consultant Urological Surgeon
People centred research
- Bristol Clinical Research Facility (CRF)
- Sharon Short, Research Nurse, BHOC
Rising star (individual)
- Eve Watson, Senior Trials Co-ordinator, Bristol CRF

- Rose Fyfe-Beedell, Research Nurse
Professor Fergus Caskey, BFT Director of Research, said:

Having 10 nominations across a wide range of categories reflects the depth, quality and diversity of research taking place across our organisation.
